Pepper’s Cutthroat Floater Polarized Sunglasses Review

One of our many sunny days on the inside passage

Pepper’s Cutthroat Floater Polarized matte black smoke sunglasses was a great addition to my every day kayak outfit. With polarized lenses the Cutthroat reduce 99% of visible glare from the water, helping me see the rocks under the water. At the price of $35 the Cutthroat sunglasses are incredibly inexpensive. They look good like other high quality glasses that are trending now, but would like to see the Pepper logo smaller. Gray lenses keeps the natural color and with the shadder proof lenses stayed semi scratch free for most of the trip. I would say that more expensive glasses that I have owned have scratched less then the Cutthroats. The integrated foam chambers makes them float in the water after you knock them off your head. 100% UV protection.

Pepper Cutthroat sunglasses allowed my to see through the water for rocks and fish.

Pros:

  • Inexpensive
  • Polarized
  • They float

Cons:

  • Feels cheap
  • Large logo

Modifications:

I put sunglass straps (Croakies) on the Pepper Cutthroat glasses which allowed me to take them off in a hurry.

Overall:

Great glasses for the price, they float, and are polarized. I give the Pepper Cutthroat Sunglasses a 4 out of 5 as they feel a little cheap.
